Voluntarily Quimica Central de Mexico has been actively participating with local, state, and federal authorities in the development and execution of programs to improve the ecology of the region. The construction of water treatment plants on site, and use of state of the art technology oriented toward the reduction and elimination of contaminants assure total control in complying with strict environmental preservation programs.
Quimica Central de Mexico concern and actions in order to protect the natural environment takes the form of diverse programs that fall into the following two categories:
INTEGRAL
RESPONSABILITY 
Quimica Central de Mexico is an active member of the international program “Integral Responsibility”, locally implemented by the National Association of the Chemical Industry (ANIQ).
In this program, norms are established in order to assure the intervention of the manufacturing companies in the production, transportation and use of their products in safe conditions, compatible with the environment.
CCONTROL IN THE PRODUCTION FACILITY
Quimica Central de Mexico has developed and perfected our production processes to insure compatibility with the environment, reducing or eliminating waste products.
The company has implemented secure methods of waste disposal for raw materials utilized in our processes, in order to assure an risk free environment for the future.
We have modernized our production installations, opening new facilities adopting the most advanced technology and automation for the control of processes and effluents.
Additionally we operate on our facilities three specialized effluent treatment plants.
1 – Treatment plant for Fatliquors, where the oils and fats are seperated from the water, which is sent to other areas of production.
2 – Rainwater treatment plant, all rainwater that falls inside our plant is collected and sent to a treatment plant where it is cycled into our processes or treated and released, depending upon the volume handled.
3 – Service water treatment plant, the water in the distinct service areas of the plant and offices is treated and emitted, complying with the specifications of release, and used in the irrigation of the green areas inside the plant.
The design and operation of the new Residual Stabilizing Plant will begin operations soon and will provide more benefits for the community.
